How to Make Momos at Home Indian Style:
Momos is a type of steamed dumpling with some storm of feeling Vegetables and ingredients. its a traditional food of Nepal and India. momos have always been famous among food Lovers, young and old, vegetarian and as well as non-vegetarian peoples.
Ingredients for Momos Covering :
- 1 Cup Maida
- 1/2 teaspoon oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 to 4 tablespoon water for kneading
Ingredients for Stuffing:
- 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup of chopped carrots
- 1/3 cup of chopped french beans.
- 1/4 cup of chopped capsicum
- 1/2 cup chopped spring onions.
- 2 to 4 chopped garlic
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoon sauce
- 1/2 tea spoon black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- Salt is Required according to taste.
For Making Dough for Covering Momos :
- In a bowl, Mix, Maida, Salt and oil
- the add little water to make a smooth pliable dough
- Cover the Dough with a damped Cloth and leave it for 25 to 30 Minutes.
For Stuffing :
- Take heavy bottomed pan and heat oil and add garlic in it and saute for few seconds.
- Now add chopped onions and saute for 2 to 3 minutes in medium heat.
- Now add all chopped vegetables and cook for 5 to 7 Minutes.
- add Black pepper, soya souce and give it a nice stir for a 2 to 3 minutes.

How to Shape Momos :
- Divide dough into small balls. Roll each dough ball in Circle shape, keeping edges thin and center portion thick.
- place the ready stuff in Center approx 1 spoon.
- Lift the edges from one side and start pleating and join them in the center to seal it sides.
- Keep them Covered with a wet cloth so that wan't dry .
How to Steaming Momos :
- Boil water in to Pressure cooker or Streamer.
- Get the Plate with oil and arrange momos on that plate. make sure they have spaces between them.
- Place that palte in too cooker or streamer, stream them for 6 to 7 Minutes over Medium flame until they look cooked.
- ones its done, turn of the flame and remove the momos from the coocker or streamer.
- Serve them with Tomato ketchup or sezwan souse and enjoy momos.
